Description
As a Quality Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of quality across our laboratory activities, testing procedures, and customer satisfaction. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the Quality Control (QC) laboratory, coaching and monitoring the performance of quality personnel, and maintaining a culture of quality within Airtech.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES :
In order to be successful in this role you'll need to be able to handle the following :
- Perform all tasks with a focus on safety, ensuring the well-being of yourself and other plant personnel.
- Be a proactive employee coach, fostering talent from within and maintaining a positive work environment.
- Oversee testing of materials in lab and supervise quality techs to ensure proper procedures are followed.
- Manage calibration system or ensure calibration is carried out to planned arrangements.
- Manage customer complaints and notify QA Manager of significant issues or trends.
- Execute internal audits associated with AS9100.
- Perform quality checks on incoming materials and finished product using laboratory or production testing equipment where appropriate.
- Maintain a neat and orderly work area.
- Must pass annual forklift certification test.
- Must use safe practices and methods to handle products heavier than 50 pounds.
- Notify supervisor or manager of any potential safety hazards.
- Sustain regular, reliable and punctual attendance.
- Perform other tasks and duties as required by management.
