As a Warehouse Supervisor, you'll oversee a team of dedicated material handlers and ensure our operations run smoothly, safely, and efficiently.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Lead and supervise all warehouse activities, ensuring compliance with company policies while driving operational excellence in receiving, warehousing, and distribution.
- Collaborate with department supervisors to plan work schedules, manage inventory, and optimize workflows.
- Maintain accurate inventory by overseeing inventory counts and ensuring transactions are precise.
- Prioritize safety by ensuring your team is well-trained in best practices for handling materials, operating equipment, and maintaining a safe work environment.
- Plan and implement innovative layouts for our warehouse to improve efficiency and maintain our facility’s peak condition.
- Recruit, train, and support a motivated warehouse team while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Provide coaching and feedback to your team, working closely with HR to maintain a productive and engaged workforce.
- Stay sharp with annual forklift certification and demonstrate safe practices when handling products heavier than 50 pounds.
WHO YOU ARE:
- A strong leader with 5 years of experience in a high-mix, custom warehouse environment.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized with the ability to track and verify inventory with precision.
- A skilled communicator who can motivate your team, deliver feedback, and maintain accurate records.
- Someone with a mechanical aptitude who enjoys solving problems and improving processes.
- Physically able to manage tasks such as lifting, squatting, bending, and operating warehouse equipment in varying temperatures.
