We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our dynamic manufacturing team. Responsibilities
- Develop, modify, and optimize CNC programs for various machining operations.
- Utilize AutoCAD and CAM programming software to create detailed machining instructions based on engineering drawings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine the necessary machining processes.
- Apply mechanical knowledge and geometry principles to ensure accurate part fabrication.
- Implement lean manufacturing techniques to enhance productivity and reduce waste in the production process.
- Collaborate with the production team to troubleshoot issues related to CNC operations and make necessary adjustments.
- Maintain documentation of all programming changes and updates for quality control purposes.
Experience
- Proven experience as a CNC Programmer or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of programming languages used in CNC machinery, with proficiency in CAM programming preferred.
- Familiarity with electrical discharge machining is a plus.
- Solid mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand complex geometries and machining processes.
- Experience with blueprint reading and interpreting technical specifications is essential.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles is advantageous.
