A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN HVAC - CONSTRUCTION PROCUREMENT MANAGER
As the HVAC - Construction Procurement Manager at Airtron, your day is filled with excitement and purpose. You dive into coordinating the efficient movement of materials to our Division operations. You collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to determine procurement needs and specifications. You're a master at negotiating contracts and building relationships with suppliers.
With your keen eye for detail, you review and approve purchase orders, ensuring the timely delivery of materials and equipment. No day is the same, as you stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging products. Your expertise and strategic mindset contribute to cost savings and the success of our projects. Each day brings new challenges and opportunities to make a lasting impact.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 3 years of purchasing management experience
- 3 years of experience leading successful, productive teams
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
- Project management skills
- Ability to work overtime with little notice
- Basic mechanical aptitude
- Valid driver's license
Purchasing management experience in a construction, HVAC, or home services environment is preferred.
WORK SCHEDULE
This full-time position has a flexible schedule but typically works Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Some weekend work may be necessary.
