Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Aircraft Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the airworthiness of aircraft by performing maintenance, repairs, and inspections in compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of aviation systems, the ability to troubleshoot issues, and a commitment to safety and quality.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on various aircraft systems to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Assemble and disassemble aircraft components as needed for repairs or upgrades.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, ammeters, and ohmmeters to perform diagnostics and repairs.
- Interpret schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues.
- Perform root cause analysis on recurring problems to develop effective solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance performed in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks.
- Stay updated on changes in Federal Aviation Regulations and industry best practices.
Experience
- Previous experience as an Aircraft Maintenance Technician or in a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with aviation systems, including electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical components.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools such as ammeters and ohmmeters.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
