Duties
- Welcome guests upon arrival and provide a friendly check-in experience.
- Handle guest inquiries and requests promptly and professionally.
- Manage reservations and cancellations using hotel management software.
- Process payments and maintain accurate records of transactions.
- Assist with night audit duties as required, ensuring all financial transactions are balanced.
- Maintain knowledge of hotel services, local attractions, and events to provide recommendations.
- Address guest complaints or concerns with empathy and resolve issues effectively.
- Operate phone systems to manage incoming calls and relay messages accurately.
- Collaborate with other departments to enhance the guest experience.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a hotel or resort environment is preferred.
- Bilingual or multilingual skills are highly desirable to accommodate diverse guests.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Proficient in phone etiquette and handling various phone systems.
- Familiarity with front desk operations and hotel management practices is an advantage.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
