What are the responsibilities and job description for the Parts Delivery Driver position at AIS CONSTRUCTION EQUIPMENT?
AIS Construction Equipment is the oldest Michigan owned and operated heavy equipment company in the state and has been serving customers for over 60 years. Responsibilities:
- Complete the eastside AIS route daily which starts in Lansing and includes 3 branch locations. No weekend work/home nightly.
- Load and unload the parts delivery truck at each stop (53’ softside trailer)
- Complete all appropriate paperwork
- Handle basic maintenance of the truck including filling tank with fuel, checking oil, keeping it clean, and making sure required inspections are performed
- Keep parts team updated on schedule progress
- Maintain a professional appearance and attitude
Requirements:
- 18 years of age or older with a high school diploma or GED
- Valid state-issued driver's license
- Class A CDL with air brakes (automatic-only CDL is acceptable)
- Punctual, reliable, and a strong sense of urgency
- Able to work independently and within a team
- Able to lift and carry up to 75 pounds regularly
- ******Able to pass a full background screening and drug test*****
- Preferred: Experience in related field and knowledge of heavy equipment parts

Pay: $25.00 - $29.00 per hour
Expected hours: 45 – 55 per week
