What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electrical Maintenance Team Member position at Aisin Corporation?
The Maintenance Team Member is responsible for maintaining the condition of the manufacturing equipment, including but not limited to repairing and / or the replacement of failed components and performing preventative maintenance measures when applicable. This role is responsible for developing short and / or longer-term repairs that are geared towards improving quality as well as efficiency.
Duties and Responsibilities
Perform all repair / maintenance of production equipment according to the equipment blueprints and procedures :
Install and repair pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical equipment based on prior knowledge, manufacturer guidelines, and on-the-job training.
Install and troubleshoot electronic equipment based on prior knowledge, manufacturer guidelines, and on-the-job training.
Diagnose malfunctions in machinery and equipment per manufacturer guidelines, and on the job training.
Utilize prior knowledge, manufacturer guidelines, and on-the-job training to perform daily activities in a safe and effective way.
Use basic test equipment such as multi-meters, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical drive systems.
Reduce downtime by working efficiently and performing countermeasures aimed at root cause analysis.
All employees must possess a commitment to safety and quality.
Safely execute workplace rules and standards.
Monitor the safety, quality, and productivity of the production machinery, and equipment.
Establish and maintain productive and effective working relationships with AWTX Team Members and Japanese Maintenance team members.
Qualifications
High school Diploma or GED required
College or technical school coursework completed is a plus
1 or more years of experience in Manufacturing equipment maintenance is required
Experience with high and low voltage electricity handling is a plus
Experience as an independent maintenance mechanic or electrician is a plus
Experience in an automotive manufacturing environment is a plus
