We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Residential Assistant to join our team. This role is essential in supporting various residential construction projects, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction techniques and be able to work collaboratively with other team members to deliver quality results.
Responsibilities
- Assist in demolition, site preparation, and cleanup for remodeling projects.
- Support skilled tradespeople, including carpenters, painters, and electricians, in daily tasks.
- Move, load, and organize materials and tools on-site.
- Follow instructions to ensure quality and precision in tasks like painting, sanding, and installation.
- Maintain a safe, clean work environment by adhering to company and safety guidelines.
- Operate basic tools and equipment, under supervision, for remodeling tasks.
- Perform additional duties as required by project managers or lead remodelers.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation.
- Dependable, with a strong commitment to punctuality and reliability.
- Ability to lift and move heavy materials, stand for extended periods, and handle physical labor.
- Willingness to learn remodeling skills and develop knowledge of construction techniques.
- Detail-oriented, with a strong commitment to quality.
- Prior experience in construction or remodeling is an advantage but not required.
- Willing to travel out of town for some projects.
