AIT Communications is currently seeking team-oriented professionals who will ensure timely and smooth ground/air ambulance/emergent/non-emergent transportation by coordinating with clients, hospitals, and flight services to provide precise logistics. Dispatchers are the point of contact for ground/air ambulance crews and have all the information needed to make transports successful
Dispatcher responsibilities include:
- Receiving emergent/non-emergent calls and log significant information in the appropriate software
- Addressing problems and requests by transmitting information or providing solutions
- Receiving and dispatching transports for air and ground
- Prioritize calls according to urgency and importance
- Use phone and computer to effectively communicate and send air/ground crews to appropriate locations
- Monitor the route and status of field units to coordinate and prioritize their schedule
- Enter data in appropriate software and maintain logs and records of calls
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36 – 40 per week
