Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer

Job Summary: Senior engineer will be responsible for designing HVAC system with new refrigerant and qualifying the same according to applicable regulations for US market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with offshore engineering teams to ensure seamless communication and project execution.
- Redesign air conditioning units for new refrigerant for US market.
- Conduct detailed engineering analysis, including thermal and structural simulations, to validate design changes.
- Lead NPI/NPD reviews and secure all necessary approvals on the project
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field; Master's degree preferred (Thermal/HVAC).
- Preference will be given to candidates with ASHRAE certification
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in mechanical design and engineering, preferably in the HVAC industry.
- Proven experience in coordinating with offshore teams and managing complex engineering projects.
- Strong knowledge of US standards and regulations for HVAC systems.
- Expertise in refrigerant systems and experience with environmental friendly refrigerants.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
