Powertrain Control Systems Engineer Responsibilities & Duties:
- Design, develop, and test control systems for powertrain systems and components.
- Analyze and improve powertrain performance and efficiency through advanced simulation and testing methods.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and suppliers, to ensure seamless integration of control systems.
- Develop and implement control algorithms for powertrain systems and components, such as engine control, transmission control, and hybrid powertrain control.
- Support production launch and ongoing production of control systems, including debugging and troubleshooting.
- Stay current with industry advancements and make recommendations for incorporating new technologies into the powertrain control systems.
Powertrain Control Systems Engineer Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- 5 years of experience in powertrain control systems design and development.
- Experience with powertrain control systems, such as engine control, transmission control, and hybrid powertrain control.
- Strong knowledge of control theory and control system design.
- Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink and C/C programming.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
