POSITION OVERVIEW
The Electronic Technician Maintenance II supports the Army Training Aids, Devices, Simulators, and Simulations (TADSS) Maintenance Program (ATMP) Contract.
The Electronic Technician Maintenance II supports the Army Training Aids, Devices, Simulators, and Simulations (TADSS) Maintenance Program (ATMP) Contract.
RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES
* Perform all functions required to maintain and repair electronic TADSS and equipment
* Perform preventative maintenance IAW technical guidelines and equipment specifications ensuring proper functionality and safe operating conditions
* Apply advanced technical knowledge to solve routine electrical, mechanical, and computer issues by interpreting. manufacturers' manuals or similar documents
* Perform inventory of spare/repair parts IAW contractual guidelines
* Enter work order data in a timely and accurate manner into the management information system.
* Apply basic and advanced technical knowledge to solve routine problems
* May supervise, provide direction/guidance, and check lower-level technicians' work
* Ensure that all paperwork and reports are completed in a timely and accurate manner
* Read and interpret schematic drawings and diagrams required to perform maintenance
* Travel to other installations and other ATMP locations throughout CONUS and OCONUS may be required
* Other duties may be assigned

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
* U.S. Citizen with Secret clearance (active or eligible)
* HS Diploma (AA Degree desirable/Experience Equivalent to Degree) with 2 years of recent electrical/electronic industrial
work experience
* Minimum 2 years of experience with electrical systems and /or repair of electronic components desired
* Experience with electronics and computer testing/troubleshooting
* Will consider experience in lieu of formal education (military training, technical school, certifications and/or professional
experience)
* Able to successfully pass a background check
* Must be able to obtain/maintain a valid driver's license and On-Post driving privileges
* Must be able to gain access to military installation
