Ensure that the development, manufacturing, testing and release of products are performed according to the applicable to company SOP’s, AS9100O and other standards invoked by internal drawings and customer SOW’s. The PA Engineer will work across the entire product development lifecycle identifying and fixing issues that introduce risk.

Required Qualifications/Experience:
10 years minimum experience working as a Product Assurance/Quality Engineer.
Bachelor's Degree or or equivalent in related field.
CQE/CRE
Must be a US. Citizen or Permanent resident.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Reviews and thoroughly understands product functional and design specifications.
- Reviews, follows, and approves program compliance matrix.
- Participates in reviews as gate keeper and approver for milestone completion.
- Devises and implements methods and procedures for inspecting, testing, and evaluating the precision and accuracy of products and production equipment.
- Designs or specifies inspection and testing mechanisms and equipment.
- Conducts quality assurance tests.
- Performs statistical analysis to assess the cost of, and determine the responsibility for, products or materials that do not meet required standards and specifications.
- Performs defect analysis utilizing experience in statistical quality process analytical methods.
- Prepares and maintains quality trend and corrective actions reports.
- Reviews returned material and verifies customer complaints; develops action plan to address discrepancies; communicates with customers as required.
- Prioritizes and manages multiple projects within design specifications and budget restrictions.
- Investigates and thoroughly understands developments in quality assurance codes and standards.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
- Mentors and trains junior engineers to analyze failures, develop drawings, and improve processes.

- Strong understanding of product lifecycle phases for embedded avionics systems
- Strong understanding of IPC – 610 – Acceptability of electronic assembly
- Working knowledge and understanding of systems requirements associated with Circuit Card and Avionics Systems, design, manufacturing and test
- Understanding of AS9100/ISO Requirements
- Proficient Microsoft Products including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
