We're seeking a Cloud Engineer with experience supporting Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure infrastructures and workloads across an 85,000 user IT enterprise. This position will work with other systems engineers in the customer's environment to provision storage and compute resources in the AWS lab environment and maintain that architecture.
Job Responsibilities :
- Support our government clients in AWS and Azure deployments, "lift & shift" migrations and innovative cloud native solutions.
- Analyze user requirements, concept of operations documents, and high-level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications
- Guide mission owners in formulating requirements, advise alternative approaches, and conduct feasibility studies
- Support services before operational deployment through activities such as system design consulting, developing software platforms and frameworks, capacity planning and launch reviews.
- Scale cloud sustainably through mechanisms such as automation and evolve systems by recommending changes that improve reliability and velocity.
- Develop system architecture and system design documentation
- Design and arrangement of scalable, highly attainable, and fault tolerant systems on AWS and Azure
