Cashier

Summary

As a Cashier at a Korean casual restaurant, you will be the face of our retail operations, ensuring exceptional customer service and efficient transaction processing. This role is vital to our commitment to delivering outstanding experiences for our clients and contributes significantly to the overall success of our business.

Responsibilities

• Process customer transactions accurately using the cash register.
• Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with precision and care.
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with inquiries and purchases.
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area to enhance the shopping experience.
• Assist in stocking shelves and ensuring product availability on the sales floor.
• Conduct product demonstrations as needed to promote sales effectively.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and enhance store performance.
• Monitor inventory levels and report discrepancies as necessary.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a cashier or in a similar role within a retail environment.
• Strong knowledge of retail math and cash handling procedures.
• Excellent basic math skills for accurate transaction processing.
• Ability to provide exceptional customer service with a friendly demeanor.
• Familiarity with cash register systems and point-of-sale technology is preferred.
• Experience in retail sales or product demonstrations is a plus.
• Supervisory experience is beneficial but not required.
