Position: Jewelry Specialist
Location: Waikiki, Hawaii

Job ResponsibilitiesSales Duties
- Drive Sales:
- Build strong relationships with clients and help sales stylists do the same.
- Maintain a client book and expand the customer base for the jewelry department.
- Consistently achieve or exceed monthly jewelry sales goals.
- Maintain a polished and professional appearance at all times.
- Product Knowledge:
- Acquire extensive knowledge of jewelry terminology, materials, and craftsmanship.
- Develop a deep understanding and passion for the designers and collections we carry.
- Attend seasonal product knowledge and styling meetings organized by jewelry buyers.
- Conduct seasonal in-store training sessions to educate sales stylists and associates on product and styling knowledge.
Floor Management
- Set up jewelry displays every morning and secure them in the jewelry safe at closing.
- Manage jewelry inventory and provide consistent feedback to buyers on sales trends and customer interests.
- Collaborate with buyers and visual merchandisers to ensure optimal jewelry case presentation.
- Maintain a clean and safe shopping environment for customers.
Loss Prevention
- Actively monitor customers and merchandise to minimize loss.
- Ensure the jewelry counter is never left unattended.
- Assist with semi-annual inventory counts.
Qualifications
- Positive Attitude: Approach customers and team members with kindness, enthusiasm, and optimism.
- Familiarity with California culture is a plus.
- At least 2 years of jewelry retail experience with strong references.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience maintaining a client book is preferred.
- Open availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Japanese and English bilingual speaker
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 4 hours).
- Able to bend, reach below the waist and above the head.
- Capable of going up and down stairs.
- Ability to push and pull clothing racks weighing up to 30 lbs.
- Able to lift items weighing up to 15 lbs.
