*Work Schedule：M-F: 9AM – 6PM; 1 hr lunch. Over Time may apply
- Develop and implement purchasing strategies to support the company's business goals.
- Negotiate with vendors to secure the best price and service guarantees.
- Research and develop products to increase company sales and revenue.
- Monitor and forecast future demand and develop new sources of supply as needed.
- Investigate inventory discrepancies.
- Manage and develop food safety programs, including hazard analysis, sanitation, and recalls.
- Oversee quality control and ensure compliance with government food safety standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with purchasing staff at other locations to negotiate bulk purchase discounts and optimize efficiency.
- Recruit, interview, hire and train new staff for the department.
- Oversee the day-to-day workflow of the department, providing constructive and timely feedback, training and guidance.
- Participate in internal events and functions held outside of normal working hours.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Business-level English skills (reading, writing, speaking, listening)
- Business-level Japanese skills (preferred)
- Must have a clean driving record and maintain it
- Must maintain a positive attitude
- Must be able to adapt to frequent changes in work content and workload
- High school diploma required. Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
- At least 5 years of related work experience required
