Job Summary:
Aivirtrix is seeking a Data Specialist - Mailing to analyze, manage, and process electronic databases in various formats. This role involves data transformation, quality control, and preparation of mailing data in compliance with USPS regulations. The ideal candidate will use BCC Mail Manager and other tools to optimize direct mail campaigns while collaborating with multiple teams.
Key Responsibilities:
· Manage, import, export, and process electronic databases across multiple formats.
· Perform data transformation and manipulation based on customer instructions.
· Utilize BCC Mail Manager to prepare data for addressing and USPS delivery.
· Ensure data accuracy through CASS certification, NCOA processing, de-duplication, and presorting.
· Generate mail.dat files for automated mail processing and USPS submission.
· Prepare output files for inkjet and variable data printing.
· Stay updated with USPS regulations, promotions, and mailing industry standards.
· Manage multiple projects and ensure timely execution in accordance with client drop dates.
· Communicate effectively with sales, customer service, production teams, and customers when required.
· Read and interpret job production requirements as per sales and client service teams.
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
· Proficiency in BCC Mail Manager, including template creation and Task Master scripting.
· Knowledge of postal regulations, available postal discounts, and mailing industry standards.
· Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
· Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and adjust to changing project requirements.
· Experience with data entry, data processing, and database management.
· Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
· Experience in the printing or direct mail industry is a plus
