Job Title: Quality Assurance Assistant Manager

Pay Range: $50,000 - $75,000 Annually Benefits
Job Description:
Aivirtrix is seeking a Quality Assurance Assistant Manager to oversee food safety and quality programs in a sous vide food manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will ensure production and distribution meet company and regulatory compliance while continuously improving quality processes.
Experience & Qualifications:
· Minimum 2 years managing Quality & Food Safety in a sous vide food manufacturing environment.
· Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
· Bachelor’s degree in Food Science OR 5 years of experience as a Quality Control Technician in the food industry.
Shift Openings:
· 2 PM - 11 PM
· 10 PM - 7 AM
Job Responsibilities:
· Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for Food Quality & Safety.
· Identify areas for quality improvement and communicate changes effectively.
· Supervise, train, and review Quality Control staff.
· Investigate customer complaints and internal quality issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
· Review production & quality records to ensure compliance with federal regulations, customer requirements, and BRC standards.
· Oversee pre-requisite programs such as supplier approval, pest control, sanitation, environmental/product testing, and allergen control.
· Perform other duties as assigned by management.
