Pay Range: $60,000 - $90,000 annually
Position Summary
Aivirtrix is seeking an experienced Survey Project Manager to oversee and manage land survey projects from inception to completion. This role includes client interactions, project planning, scheduling, and ensuring quality deliverables while leading field and office teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in land surveying, project management, and infrastructure development.
Essential Functions
· Supervise and manage all survey activities, including conventional, GPS, and Laser Scanning surveys.
· Develop and define project scopes, budgets, and schedules while managing resources efficiently.
· Ensure that bids, proposals, and RFPs align with company profit objectives.
· Maintain high-quality standards through QA/QC review before client submission.
· Lead and mentor field personnel, providing day-to-day guidance and performance feedback.
· Conduct Boundary Surveys, ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys, and As-built plans.
· Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations related to surveying.
· Utilize AutoCAD, MicroStation, and other CAD programs to support project needs.
· Identify and generate new business leads, strengthening existing client relationships.
· Participate in and support the development of long-term business goals.
· Occasionally perform field surveying tasks and assist with light office duties.
Education & Experience
· Registered Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) preferred (or ability to obtain within one year).
· Must be Surveyor-in-Training (SIT) or Certified Survey Technician IV.
· 2-year degree in Surveying, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
· 5-10 years of experience managing surveying projects, preferably in infrastructure and government projects.
· Experience supporting FDOT transportation projects with MicroStation proficiency.
Skills & Attributes
· Proficiency in AutoCAD, MicroStation, and Microsoft Office Suite.
· Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
· Excellent verbal and written communication for client interactions.
· Ability to interpret engineering plans, construction documents, and survey data.
