Medical Laboratory Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Laboratory Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in performing laboratory tests and analyses to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. This position requires a strong understanding of laboratory procedures, excellent data management skills, and the ability to work effectively within a clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards and protocols.
• Utilize Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) for data entry and management.
• Analyze test results and communicate findings to healthcare professionals.
• Participate in clinical trials by collecting samples and conducting necessary analyses.
• Maintain accurate records of tests performed and results obtained.
• Assist in laboratory management tasks, including inventory control and equipment maintenance.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of the laboratory workspace.

Requirements

• Associate's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or related field; certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician is REQUIRED.
• Strong data analysis skills with experience in data management systems.
• Familiarity with clinical trials processes is advantageous.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow established protocols.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with healthcare teams.
• Previous experience in a hospital or clinical laboratory setting is preferred but not mandatory.

Pay: $29.00 - $31.00 per hour
