Team Overview: 

• Our internal medicine department works with the newest diagnostic technology that improves patient comfort and supports the provider's management of disease. We prioritize collaboration, attention to detail, and a patient-centered approach. Ensuring every individual receives exceptional care. Our experienced team of physicians and nurses takes proactive initiative to provide high-quality services, including personalized care for chronic and acute conditions. Work Hours:  

Mon/Wed 12p-8p, Tues/Thurs 9a-5p, Fri 9a-2p, every other Sunday 9a-5p 

Position Overview: 

• Illuminate Patient Wellness: Step into the heart of patient care as you obtain patient information, measure vital signs, and record patient information. With each interaction, you're not just collecting data—you're painting a holistic picture of each patient's health journey, empowering our team to deliver personalized care tailored to their unique needs. 

• Champion Patient Success: Guide patients through examinations and procedures, ensuring their comfort and confidence every step of the way. Whether it's assisting healthcare providers during complex procedures or performing delicate electrocardiograms, your expertise transforms healthcare into a seamless, patient-centered experience. 

• Forge a Path of Collaboration: Act as a crucial liaison between patients and providers, ensuring seamless communication and coordination of care. From meticulously recording detailed patient information to facilitating medication queues, lab tests, imaging, and referrals, you are a vital team member who ensures our patients receive comprehensive, coordinated care at every turn. 

• Illuminate Excellence: From collecting and preparing laboratory specimens to performing essential tests and conducting phlebotomy procedures, your meticulous attention to detail ensures accurate diagnoses and informed treatment decisions. 

• Champion Sterile Environments: Uphold the highest standards of safety and cleanliness as you meticulously clean, sterilize, and manage instruments and supplies. Your commitment to maintaining pristine environments ensures our patients receive care in spaces that prioritize their health and well-being. 

• Navigate Administrative Efficiency: Seamlessly orchestrate the behind-the-scenes operations that keep our healthcare engine running smoothly. From scheduling appointments to managing medical records and navigating insurance coding, your organizational prowess ensures our patients receive the care they need when they need it.

Minimum Qualifications: 

• 2 years’ experience in the medical field or a related field, demonstrating your commitment to excellence 

• Graduate from an accredited school of Licensed Practical Nursing, equipped with the skills to thrive 

• Licensed/Registered in New York State as an LPN, showcasing your dedication to professional standards 

• CPR Certification required, reflecting your commitment to quality care 

• Strong communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment 

Preferred Qualifications: 

• 4 years’ experience in the medical field or a related field, demonstrating your commitment to excellence 

• 2 years experience with Electronic Medical Records 

• Phlebotomy certification 

• Knowledge of medical terminology 

Pay & Benefits: 

• $30 per hour, commensurate with experience.
