Position Overview:
- Patient-Centered Imaging Care: As a Radiologic Technologist, prepare patients for radiological procedures, ensuring comfort and safety while explaining the process clearly. Collaborate with healthcare teams to prioritize patient care and deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging services that support accurate diagnoses and treatment plans.
- Empower Diagnostic Excellence: Obtain high-quality diagnostic radiographs as requested by physicians, adhering to imaging protocols to enhance patient outcomes. Educate patients on imaging procedures to ensure their understanding and cooperation, fostering trust and satisfaction throughout the diagnostic process.
- Facilitate Coordination and Communication: Work closely with physicians to receive guidance and feedback on imaging needs. Maintain clear and accurate documentation of imaging procedures, ensuring timely communication and continuity of care within the healthcare team.
- Excellence in Imaging Practice: Demonstrate technical expertise in developing, processing, and reviewing radiological images, ensuring diagnostic quality. Maintain rigorous compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and safety standards, including proper handling of radiologic equipment and adherence to radiation protection protocols.
- Maintain Operational Standards: Ensure all imaging equipment is in optimal working condition by performing routine maintenance checks and promptly reporting any malfunctions to supervisors. Maintain a clean, organized work environment by managing radiological and office supplies efficiently to support clinical operations.
- Professional Development and Adaptability: Stay current with advancements in radiologic technology and healthcare practices to deliver cutting-edge diagnostic services. Exhibit a positive and adaptable attitude while maintaining empathy and professionalism to enhance the patient experience.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Certificate from accredited School of Radiologic Technology
- New York State license or temporary permit to practice Diagnostic Radiology
- Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
Pay and Benefits:
- $35-40 per hour, commensurate with experience
