Asphalt paving and Grading Foreman

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Supervisor to oversee construction projects and ensure they are completed efficiently and according to specifications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management and be able to lead a team effectively.

Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise construction projects from start to finish
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings
- Estimate costs, materials, and labor required for projects
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and maintain high standards of safety on-site
- Conduct quality control checks to guarantee work meets project standards
- Communicate with contractors, clients, and team members to coordinate project activities
- Monitor progress, resolve issues, and make decisions to keep projects on track
- Utilize tools such as ohmmeters for electrical work
- Oversee pipeline installations and maintenance

Skills
- Proficiency in construction management techniques
- Ability to read and understand blueprints accurately
- Strong knowledge of construction estimating processes
- Experience managing construction projects from inception to completion
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations for construction sites
- Excellent leadership and communication skills for effective team management
- Knowledge of quality control procedures in the construction industry
- Understanding of contract management principles

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.08 - $30.01 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
