Essential REsponsibilities and duties
The person in this role will work closely with Ryan White public health teams to do the following :
Configure, monitor, maintain, and fine-tune CAREWare databases while ensuring high levels of data availability, working as part of the UF CARES team.Analyze data and create reports for program management of RW Parts A, C, and D, including quality management measures in adherence with grant reporting requirements.Maintain database integrity, identifying opportunities for system improvements, correcting data issues, and demonstrating thorough knowledge of system components and capabilities.Optimize workflow, enhance service delivery, and ensure compliance with federal requirements, including ensuring a quality HRSA RSR process.Collaborate with IT and program staff to ensure seamless integration with various data systems.Provide technical support to CAREWare users (mostly RW program sub-recipients).Serve as the primary point of contract between software users and IT departments.Facilitate communication to resolve technical issues promptly.Gather feedback from users to improve processes and relay information to other teams.Investigate and resolve data, reporting, and system inconsistencies as they occur in coordination with program staff.Meet regularly with the staff and management to discuss data issues and status.Provide comprehensive training to health care staff and program administrators.Create training materials, user guides, and instructional videos specific to RW programs.Accurately maintain records regarding training, effectiveness of software, and data collection efforts.Implement security measures to safeguard the databases from unauthorized access or breaches.Stay current on program guidelines, industry trends, and healthcare technology advancements.Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Information Technology, Public Health, Nursing, or a related field.Minimum of 3 years in healthcare IT, Information Technology, Database Administration, Public Health, Nursing, or a related field.Strong understanding of HIV / AIDS care, treatment, and program management.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Proficient in training and instructional design.Technical aptitude and critical thinking skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong organizational and time management skills.Benefits
Wage compensation for this position is between $70,000 to $105,000 per year, depending upon factors such as qualifications, experience, skill levels, technical competencies, overtime worked, and other criteria. Straight-time overtime may be available. Here are some of our other benefits :
