Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide essential support to a funny, bright, and kind young man in need of queueing and guidance with daily living activities and learning a bit of independence.
Duties
- Coaching with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as schedules for daily grooming and daily chores.
- Coaching how to prepare nutritious meals.
- Assist team to maintain a clean and safe living environment.
- Provide companionship and transportation to community social activities to promote mental well-being.
- Administer first aid when necessary and respond to emergencies appropriately.
Requirements
- Previous experience in home care, nursing home, or long-term care settings is preferred.
- Familiarity with meal preparation and dietary restrictions is beneficial.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is a plus.
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others.
We are looking for someone to join our team for Mondays, Tuesday, and Fridays start and ending hours can be flexible, but mostly between 8am -8pm depending on activities. We would like for each team member to take one weekend a month, but depending on activities and family members requests for time. Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
