ABOUT THE ROLE
The Analyst, Investments position is a dynamic and cross-functional role within a fast-growing organization working directly with the Capital Markets team. The individual will take a critical role in deal execution, debt analysis, lender communication, and relationship administration. This role requires working across various teams, including accounting, asset management, portfolio management, and development. From loan origination through final maturity, the Analyst will collaborate with the broader team to ensure deal execution is streamlined and help oversee compliance with all debt-related obligations. Key responsibilities include managing deal-specific due diligence, reporting, covenant monitoring, approval coordination, transaction logistics, and maintaining lender relationships. The role also involves infrastructure development to support investment processes and assisting the company in meeting growth targets.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Assist with deal execution for new debt originations, refinancings, and modifications, including underwriting, due diligence, and closing logistics.
- Conduct detailed debt analysis and create comprehensive financial models to assess loan structures and impact on the portfolio.
- Facilitate lender communication, maintaining strong relationships to ensure streamlined processes for approvals, draw requests, and covenant compliance.
- Coordinate across various internal teams to ensure alignment on debt management strategies and loan compliance.
- Monitor and manage debt covenants, proactively addressing potential issues and coordinating with relevant departments.
- Prepare and present executive-level reports, offering memorandums, and investor updates.
- Oversee AJCP's debt management software for multi-team insights into in-place debt.
- Support cross-functional initiatives, leveraging relationships with internal stakeholders to streamline debt-related processes.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in debt capital markets, commercial real estate finance, private equity, or banking.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex debt transactions and coordinate across multiple teams.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication and relationship management abilities.
