Responsibilities
- Experience with one of the following system vendors is a "Huge PLUS" BPS, Phase3, IntelliClear or Beta
- Developing and updating project plans, resolving project and resource issues, facilitating solutions across department boundaries, supervising and presenting progress of multiple concurrent projects and driving a sense of urgency and dedication across all projects.
- Collaborate with multiple groups and subject matter experts across Business and Product Management teams
- You'll work closely and seamlessly with multiple departments including Infrastructure, Software Engineering, Business, Quality Assurance, and Senior Management. You will have outstanding communication, leadership, and management skills, in addition to having sophisticated Project Management skills.
- You'll lead the successful completion of assigned projects (technology infrastructure in nature) through constructive facilitation, tracking and reporting of status through consistent, standardized dashboards and metric reporting in support of Firm and department specific strategic goals and objectives.
- You'll review all projects assessing risk to timeline, budget, and customer happiness as well as assessing and handling impact of changes to project scope.
- You will identify bottlenecks, risks and opportunities with assessments, analyses and recommendations on progress of projects, and serve as the issue point for senior management related to project specific issues.
- Tracking the progress of multiple concurrent projects, and driving a sense of urgency and dedication across all project collaborators.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years' project management experience, with a proven track record in leading sophisticated or multiple concurrent projects.
- Extensive experience coordinating large-scale strategic technical infrastructure implementations a plus.
- Proficiency in MS Project, MS Excel, and PowerPoint with a consistent history of delivering high-quality results.
- PMP or equivalent certification is required; Scrum Master certification is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and colleagues at all levels.
Additional Pluses if you have knowledge of any of the below securities processing functions.
- US Middle-office Trade Flows/P&S (inc UTC, CTM, ID, RTTM), preferably with experience in FIX/ISO protocols
- US Equities and Fixed income clearing and settlements (GSD, MBSD, CNS, OW, RAD)
- US Name and Address
- US Security Master
- US Asset Servicing Corporate Actions and Tax
- US Securities Control inc 15c3-3
Additional Pluses:
Preferably with vendor or broker technology experience
Knowledge of one or more of the following vendor solutions: BPS, Phase3, IntelliClear or Beta
Experience of complex integrations programmes
Exposure to modern tech stacks (Docker, REST APIs, Kafka, Kubernetes, ...) a bonus
Experience of Agile practices a bonus
Salary : $100,000 - $200,000
