The Mfg. Process Improvement Coordinator is responsible for developing a safe and lean work environment to improve work flow, productivity and quality for all manufacturing and operational processes.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Development and improvement of production processes and work instructions.
- Maintenance of the photo archive of production processes and documentation of manufacturing processes.
- Development of key metrics and best in class practices.
- In-process Quality inspection.
- FOD
- Wire routing
- Wire connection polarity
- Orientation
- Hardware stack-up and torque
- Provide support and guidance during assembly of products and identifying and implementing improvements with the build team for improvement to First Time Pass.
- Collection and analysis of data to develop best practices to implement for other designs.
- Improve manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout.
- Act as a change agent for continuous improvement throughout the manufacturing facility
- Identify waste within those processes and propose actions necessary to reduce / eliminate waste.
- Ensure that all responsibilities and functions performed are in accordance with company procedures and meet quality standards in place. Participate in quality programs and stay updated on changes and standards within the systems.
- Contributes to team effort by implementing process improvement at all levels of the manufacturing process.
- Perform other duties which may be assigned as part of the essential functions of the position.
- Works closely with Engineering, Quality, Test and Mfg personnel.

Skills and Qualifications:
- 4 years’ experience in electronic manufacturing.
- Strong analytical skills, excellent problem-solving mindset
- Able to read and understand mechanical and electrical drawings, travelers and rework instructions, and accept verbal direction to successfully complete procedures and assigned tasks
- Good understanding of office computers, including MS Office programs.
- IPC certified a plus.
- Confidence and abilities to troubleshoot problems
- Good verbal and written communication skills required, and proven experience with effective teams and continuous improvement methods strongly preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
