Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and ensuring satisfaction.
- Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments through POS systems.
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including washing glassware, cleaning surfaces, and disposing of waste properly.
- Assist in catering events as needed, providing bartending services for private functions or special occasions.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality of food offerings that complement beverage selections.
- Stay informed about new drink recipes, trends in the food industry, and fine dining standards to enhance guest experiences.
Requirements
- Previous experience in bartending or related roles within the hospitality or restaurant industry is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with guests in a busy environment.
- Proficient in cash handling and basic math skills for accurate transaction processing.
