Job description
The Advanced Manufacturing Preparation Cohorts are education, skills development, training and preparations workforce development programs. We are now enrolling. The cohorts offer a solid foundational pathway into aerospace and advanced manufacturing career opportunities.
Those with NO experience are encouraged to become part of this cohort and experienced candidates will also greatly benefit from this opportunity.
Location:
King (and other Counties) County
- Class Requirement: Legally allowed to work in the USA, Washington State Resident, 18 and older, and must attend each in-person class. To be enrolled you must complete all of the application and funding paperwork.
- Class Dates: April 8 – June 18, 2025 | 8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
- Length of Program: 10 Weeks (Monday – Friday)
- Location: Georgetown Seattle SSC
- Structure of Program: Classroom learning takes place in person from Monday to Thursday. On Fridays, students will complete independent study from home.

- Shop & Intro to machining
- Tool use and conventional machining
After completing ten weeks.
