What are the responsibilities and job description for the Asphalt Paving Testing Specialist position at Ajax Paving?
Responsibilities:
- Perform quality control testing on projects according to project specifications
- Conduct field testing and calculate results for specification compliance
- Report findings to the QC Manager and prepare reports accurately and timely
- Communicate with the QC Manager regarding any issues that may impact the operation
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of current FDOT project work experience preferred
- CTQP - Asphalt Paving Levels 1 and 2 certification required (Ajax can provide training)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
