MIS Technician (Coil Fab & Repair)

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Perform all tasks associated with copper fabrication which include but are not limited to: Copper (brazing, soldering, cutting, bending, punching, and winding), assembly of product to specific blueprint criteria. Test assembled parts.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

· Layout, prepare, and assemble all parts, assemblies and windings in accordance with drawings and shop practices and procedures.

· Cut, thread, drill, possibly weld, and etc. plates, shapes, bars, pipe, etc. of either metal or non-metallic materials.

· Air or water check sub-assemblies or assemblies as required.

· Use measuring devices to set up, adjust and verify conformance of work.

· Hose and pipe all water-cooled equipment in accordance with schematics.

· Accurately account for materials per the Bill of Material and ensure that those materials are issued properly to the job.

· Must read and interpret schematics and blueprints.

· Must perform minor maintenance and clean-up on Assemblies as required.

· Move materials with hand trucks, forklift trucks and cranes as required.

· Maintain a clean and safe working area.

· Must observe all safety regulations. May be required to perform various other functions or duties as directed by supervisor.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

· High-School diploma or equivalent.

· 3 or more years of experience with welding, plumbing, or joining of copper materials

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
