Drayage Truck Driver (CDL-A) in Jacksonville Terminal for a local city and port pick-up and delivery driving position!

Your Day-to-Day:
• Handle on-site container pickup and delivery to Blount Island; return empty containers to the loading site (drayage service).
• Perform railbox pickups/deliveries to/from CSX, NF, and FEC ramps.
• Conduct and document daily truck and chassis inspections; report equipment issues or damage immediately.
• Work Monday–Friday with variable hours based on volume (7am start); expect OT on busy days, especially before vessel sailings.
• Cover local pickups/deliveries in the Jacksonville, FL area as needed.
• Follow planned routes and delivery schedules efficiently.
• Complete daily truck logs and mileage reports.
• Optimize routes and fuel usage for efficiency.
• Represent the company professionally in all client and public interactions.
• Preferred: Experience operating yard/jockey trucks.

Education and Experience:
-High School Diploma or equivalent experience preferred
-Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience;
-Ability to Drive a Manual Transmission Required
-Minimum 21 years of age
-Must have less than 3 minor moving violations, and no major moving violations;
-Valid Florida Class A license;
-Clean Motor Vehicle Report, (showing 10-year driving history) within 30 days of presentation;
-Experience with refrigerated & frozen product, preferred;
-Hazardous Material Endorsement / TSA (preferred)
-TWIC Card (will be required)
-Pallet jack and hand truck experience required
-Forklift experience is a plus
