Job Summary
The Assistant Property Manager plays a vital role in supporting the overall management and operations of residential or commercial properties. This position involves collaborating with the Assistant Regional Manger to ensure efficient property management, maintain high occupancy rates, and provide exceptional customer service to residents and tenants. Duties
- Assist in the daily operations of property management, including tenant relations and property maintenance oversight.
- Collaborate with the Assistant Regional to develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new tenants.
- Handle tenant inquiries and concerns promptly, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records of tenant leases, payments, and property maintenance requests using Excel, Remote Landlord,or similar property management software.
- Coordinate property maintenance activities, including scheduling repairs and inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Support the leasing process by conducting property tours, processing applications, and preparing lease agreements.
- Assist in budget preparation and financial reporting related to property operations.
- Stay informed about local real estate laws and regulations to ensure compliance in all aspects of property management.
Skills
- Strong background in administrative tasks with a focus on collaboration sales techniques.
- Knowledge of property management principles and practices, including facilities management and property maintenance.
- Familiarity with Low-Income Housing programs is preferred but not mandatory.
- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to resolve conflicts effectively.
- Proficient in customer service with a focus on building positive relationships with tenants and vendors.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also demonstrating independence when necessary.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
