The Maintenance Parts Clerk role is responsible for ensuring the accurate receipt, storage, and issuance of repair parts, supplies, and equipment within our organization.
Main Responsibilities
- Received and issued repair parts, supplies, and equipment in a timely manner to meet operational needs.
- Determined the correct association of repair parts by utilizing available publications and research materials.
- Monitored inventory levels to identify potential discrepancies and took corrective action to maintain accuracy.
- Verified the accuracy and completeness of purchase orders, shipping documents, and merchandise upon receipt.
- Prepared and analyzed inventory reports to investigate any discrepancies or issues that arose.
- Performed technical editing tasks by researching catalogs, manuals, and parts lists to ensure compliance with established standards.
- Conducted visual inspections of received parts, supplies, and equipment to ensure serviceability.
- Coordinated the Lay-Up and FIFO processes to maintain efficient inventory management.
- Reviewed work orders and PMs to verify parts and prepare kits for maintenance tasks.
- Facilitated cycle counting activities for the MRO inventory to ensure accuracy and update records accordingly.
