Position Summary
Monitor and control finished goods net weights, tortilla and fill weights.
Position Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Monitor and control finished goods net weights, tortilla and fill weights.
Complete control charts for line to include target weight.
Quality checks-inspection and documentation of finished goods and on-line checks for quality attributes including fill length, chips and cracks, stains, toast points, fry color, flaps, finished product dimensions and misshapen product.
Checking and determine out of standard conditions, documenting out of standard conditions and implement corrective action to remedy process.
Checking and documentation of finished product temperatures.
Other duties as assigned.
Position Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
Sufficiently broad experience in food manufacturing Food Safety and Quality Assurance and/or food plant production operations, processes, and policies to permit execution of assigned duties is strongly desired. Limited food manufacturing experience combined with an appropriate college degree may be considered.
The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds, and seldomly lift up to 50 pounds.
Certifications such as HACCP, SQF, or through ASQ and other professional quality associations are helpful
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school or GED preferred.
