Position Summary
Rework under/overweight pails to product specifications
Position Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Rework under or overweight pails
- Know how the check-weigher operates
- Know basic quality parameters of the product
- Good knowledge of GMP’s
- Assists in developing and applying quality controls and related procedures in plant operations. May be required to perform other FSQA tasks as assigned.
- Perform work within company standards and efficiencies.
- Follows all facility safety rules and regulations, FSQA programs, and regulatory requirements.
- Other duties as assigned
Position Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
Sufficiently broad experience in food manufacturing Food Safety and Quality Assurance and/or food plant production operations, processes, and policies to permit execution of assigned duties is strongly desired. Limited food manufacturing experience combined with an appropriate college degree may be considered.
The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds, and seldomly lift up to 50 pounds.
Certifications such as HACCP, SQF, or through ASQ and other professional quality associations are helpful
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school or GED preferred.
