Position Summary
Ensure the efficient and effective cleaning of production equipment and adjacent areas, in addition to other environments, following approved sanitary methods.
Position Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Responsible for the safe use of appropriate chemical solutions to ensure the cleanest and most highly sanitized equipment
- Ensure that all necessary safety precautions are followed in performing your responsibilities
- Responsible for following through on projects assigned
- Cleans equipment by using hot water hoses and/or high pressure soap hoses with temperatures up to 160 degrees
- Lifts, carry, push or pull parts or equipment with weights up to 100# or more
- Climb ladders to clean spirals/equipment
- Possible forklift/palletjack/manlift licensed for certain areas
- Tearing equipment down and assisting Production to put line back together
- Works with soaps and other cleaning compounds, some toxic if not handled correctly
- Temperatures throughout plant average 50 degrees
- Required to wear hairnet, smock, boots or overshoes, ear plugs, gloves, plastic sleeves, and aprons provided by the Company
- Other duties as assigned

- Use proper lifting techniques
- Use mechanical assistance (handjack, forklift, manlift)
- Use personal assistance (buddy)
- Use handrails
- Use and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
Position Qualifications
- Prefer High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- May require a Forklift/Palletjack Certification
- Ability to communicate effectively
