Title: Site Reliability Engineer - Independent consultants only - W2
Location: Houston, TX – Hybrid
Level: Entry to mid-level is fine. 2-5 yrs exp
Key Responsibilities:
- Observability: Continuously observe production health dashboards in DataDog to detect anomalies or system disruptions.
- Issue Triage: Rapidly assess and escalate technical problems to relevant teams while initiating mitigation steps.
- Customer Support: Join critical customer calls to provide technical insights and ensure swift issue resolution.
- Weekly Reporting: Prepare and present detailed weekly reports on project status, risks, and milestones using slides (PowerPoint).
- Project Tracking: Maintain and update project management tools (e.g., Jira, Smartsheets) to track timelines, deliverables, and dependencies.
Requirements:
- 2 years in technical support, operations, or project management.
- Proficiency in dashboard tools (e.g., Grafana, Tableau) and project management software.
- Strong presentation skills with experience creating executive-level updates.
- Ability to communicate complex technical details to non-technical stakeholders.
