We are a fully accredited AAHA hospital, 100% locally owned and operated by local veterinarians. Currently Seeking Experienced Veterinary Technicians
As a Veterinary Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality medical care to animals. You will work closely with veterinarians to ensure the well-being of our patients.
Clinic Services:
- Clinic hours of operations: Monday - Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm
- Canine, feline, and furry pocket pets welcomed!
- Preventative care
- Dentistry
- Fully equipped surgical suite
- Advanced soft tissue surgery
- Travel exams and health certificates
- Digital radiography
- Fully equipped pharmacy
- In-house laboratory
- Community partnerships to promote client education on pet safety
Responsibilities:
- Assist veterinarians in providing medical care to animals
- Treat all patients and clients with care and respect
- Perform routine procedures such as administering vaccinations and medications
- Prepare patients for surgery, surgical assistant, and/or monitoring of patients during anesthetic procedures and post-operative
- Perform dental prophylaxis and charting
- Proficient in dental radiology techniques
- Specimen collection
- Conduct laboratory tests and analyze samples
- Proficient in digital radiology
- Provide nursing care to hospitalized animals
- Proficiency with cloud based record keeping
- Educate pet owners on proper animal care and treatment

The Candidate:
- High School diploma or GED
- CVT, LVT, RVT preferred but not required
- Preferred 1-3 years of Veterinary Technician experience
- Basic computer skills
- Reliable and strong work ethic
- Empathetic, respectful, and professional
- Strong knowledge of veterinary medical terminology and procedures
- Ability to handle and restrain animals safely and compassionately
- Proficient in preparing and analyzing laboratory samples
- Proficient with X-ray techniques and equipment
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to collaborate with team members to provide the highest quality of patient care
- Advanced animal handling and restraint
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs as the job requires lifting, cleaning, and constant motion
- Ability to adhere to safety standards and OSHA compliance
- Ability to work around sick or fractious animals, zoonotic diseases, hazardous materials, cleaning chemicals, and anesthetic gasses
