Position Summary
Promote and maintain good standing relationship with our primary customer, USPS. Doing so, by monitoring key performance indicators regarding contractual obligations, service fulfillment, on-time service, equipment performance, driver performance, schedule optimization, and vendor relations. Manage and develop relationships with the drivers and maintain the fleet to increase overall driver productivity and retention. This position works closely with drivers, customers, and other company departments to ensure company objectives are met.

- Support ADP Time and Attendance entries for Payroll. (Validate, Enforce Compliance).
- Manage optimal utilization of Fleet Management Tools. (Maintain current: fleet data, driver group data, geofence locations, other applicable uses).
- Manage In-Cab ELD devices. (Installations, Upkeep, and Troubleshooting).
- Managing Driver Schedules (planning, updating scheduling tools, communicating updates).
- Ensure TMS system is utilized and updated with accurate data.
- Vehicle Assignments.
- Ensure drivers adhere to Drivers Vehicle Inspection Reporting Policy (DVIR).
- Monitor and Manage On-Time Report. (5500 Validation & Responses).
- Late Slip Management.
- Extra Slip Management.
- Managing Drivers Request/issues After Hours.
- Manage Driver Callouts & Recovery.
- Support Breakdown Response Time & Recovery.
- Execute Rental CK List /Pick up/ Drop Off /Request.
- Report purchase order (P.O) needs for fleet repairs.
- Assist Safety department with Driver License/Medical Cards Expiration Mitigation.
- Coordinate Hotel & Accommodations for employees.
- Solicit recruiting needs, support the onboarding and hiring processes, promote retention.
- Ensure timely submissions of Benefit Applications.
- Execute USPS Postal Badging processes. Issuing packet, collecting, reviewing, submission in accordance with postal requirements.
- Fuel Card Management (Request activation, issue, collect, and deactivate).
- Request TMS and ELD Driver Profiles.
- Request TMS and ELD Equipment Profiles.
- Ensure Policy Enforcement (Constructive Coaching & Progressive Disciplinary Actions)
- Observe and report Property, Yard, Employee, Assets, & Cargo Safety & Security concerns.
- USPS Customer Support.
- Dock Presence for Operational Performance & Safety.
- U/A Coordinating and execution management.
- Accident and Injury Mitigation.
- Adhere to company directives for proper handling of Covid related matters.
- Promotes company culture for driver appreciation events.
- Driver of the Month Nominations.
- Proficient problem solver, independent, and adaptive to a fast-paced business environment.
- Ability to use computer and software applications (i.e. word processing, spreadsheet, etc.)
- Willingness to work overtime and weekends when needed.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks.
- Ability to listen and speak professionally.
- Previous transportation management experience preferred.
- Knowledge of FMCSA and DOT regulations.
- Manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced, service-driven environment
