Responsibilities
A successful candidate will support the Galt House Hotel brand by providing our guests with exceptional customer service.
- Prepare and serve coffee and tea drinks that meet quality standards
- Properly handle and maintain all equipment
- Respond to orders, questions, concerns, and complaints in a polite and efficient manner
- Accurately handle cash and credit card payments , following appropriate cash-handling procedures
- Serve guests quickly and efficiently
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of all menu offerings
- Observe relevant health and safety standards
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Prior customer service experience in a food & beverage setting
- Previous cashier experience required
- Previous kitchen "back line" food preparation experience is required
- Familiar with operating kitchen equipment such as a baking oven & electric knife
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Strong knowledge of the various types of coffee is required
- Previous barista experience is required
