Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional guest services and a strong ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. As a Server, you will be responsible for ensuring our guests have an enjoyable dining experience by delivering high-quality service, assisting with menu selections, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.

Duties

• Greet and seat guests promptly upon arrival, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately on paper.
• Provide recommendations to guests regarding menu items and upsell specials to enhance their dining experience.
• Process cash handling transactions efficiently while ensuring accuracy in billing.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including bussing tables and resetting them for new guests.
• Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly, ensuring high levels of guest satisfaction.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and quality service.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations while serving food and beverages.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a server or guest services role is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy environment.
• Excellent math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
• Ability to build rapport with guests through exceptional guest relations skills.
• Knowledge of sales techniques, particularly in upselling menu items, is advantageous.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
• A positive attitude and willingness to help team members as needed.
