Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering.
- Working knowledge of APQP, Lean, ISO/IATF, Six Sigma, project management and drafting are strong assets.
- New Product Development Experience .
- Manage designs and drive continuous improvement throughout the product life cycle.
- Manage APQP process, assuring product launches are delivered on time, meet quality goals, and are documented completely and accurately.
- Engage new and existing customers to grow existing products.
- Develop new and innovative product designs, bringing customer-focused, cost-effective products and processes to market.
- Support customers’ new product development by initiating cost estimates.
- Performing full lifecycle product development.
- Manages new product development projects.
- Design systems and components that meet needs and requirements.
- Produce outline designs.
- Evaluate final product’s overall performance, reliability and safety.
- Proven working experience in mechanical engineering.
- Strong understanding of industry standards.
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to prioritize and multitask.
