Responsibilities:
- Maintains all safety and accident records.
- Support audit contractor and EHS policies and standards.
- Develop and implement Safety programs.
- Comply with environmental management system for manufacturing facility.
- Audits safety programs for compliance with company standards, government regulations and unique local conditions.
- Generate and maintain documentation related to EHS initiatives.
- Contribute to administration of EHS programs.
- Maintains compliance with all federal, state and local regulations related to EHS and submits reports to appropriate agencies.
- Reviews new products, equipment, and processes for potential hazards and recommends modifications before introduction.
Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Management.
- Follow and implement OSHA regulations.
- Experience with and understanding of safety in a manufacturing environment.
- Upto 30% travel
- Strong working knowledge of EH&S regulations, compliance requirements
- Certification in EHS programs and practices.
- Expert knowledge of safety system analysis.
