Job Responsibilities/Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Management, Quality or Industrial Engineering
- Manufacturing Environment
- Certified Safety Professional
- Develop safety programs and procedures.
- Follow and implement OSHA regulations.
- Expert knowledge of safety system analysis.
- Support audit contractor and EHS policies and standards.
- Interface with state and federal agencies such as State Environmental agencies, DOT, EPA and OSHA.
- Research, analyze, design, implement and enforce facility’s safety program, policies and procedures.
- In-depth understanding of technical documentation.
- Develop and implement Safety programs.
- Participate in accident and injury investigation.
- Comply with environmental management system for manufacturing facility.
- Conduct research for the purpose of identifying, abating, or eliminating sources of pollutants or environmental hazards.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
