Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of maintenance technicians across four shifts (24/7 operations).
- Plan and prioritize preventive maintenance (PM) schedules to reduce equipment downtime and enhance production efficiency.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Engage in troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and initiatives aimed at improving equipment reliability.
- Facilitate effective communication between departments, such as operations, engineering, and management, regarding maintenance needs and progress.
- Delegate and monitor work orders to ensure tasks are completed on time and all maintenance activities are accurately documented.
- Oversee equipment failures and malfunctions, troubleshooting issues to determine root causes and implement solutions.
- Enforce safety regulations and protocols, fostering a safety-conscious environment within the maintenance team.
- Work closely with production and operations teams to coordinate maintenance activities while minimizing disruption to production schedules.
- Oversee the procurement and inventory management of spare parts, tools, and materials to ensure maintenance readiness.
- Analyze maintenance data and performance metrics (KPIs) to drive continuous operational improvements.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations, offer training opportunities, and support the professional growth of team members.
- Mentor and train new hires and provide guidance during onboarding processes for open positions.
Qualifications
- A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- A technical degree or certification (e.g., Maintenance Management, Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial) is preferred.
- 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance.
- Minimum of 2 years in a supervisory position within a manufacturing or production setting.
- In-depth knowledge of machinery and equipment used in manufacturing operations.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
- Familiarity with safety protocols and standards in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong troubleshooting abilities with the capacity to work efficiently under pressure to resolve both mechanical and electrical issues.
