This is a contract role for 3-4 months.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute effective recruiting strategies to fill manufacturing positions in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, job specifications, and to develop job descriptions and recruitment plans.
- Utilize various sourcing techniques to identify and attract candidates, including job boards, social media, networking events, and employee referrals.
- Conduct initial screening of resumes, perform interviews, and coordinate hiring processes to ensure a smooth candidate experience.
- Foster relationships with trade schools, colleges, and industry associations to source candidates and promote the company as an employer of choice.
- Manage the candidate pipeline, keeping an active pool of qualified candidates for future openings.
- Stay informed about trends and innovations in manufacturing recruitment, including labor market conditions and best practices in talent acquisition.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations throughout the recruitment process.
- Track and report on recruitment metrics, analyzing data to improve recruitment strategies and processes.
